Drumshanbo is located at the most northerly navigable point of the River Shannon and at the foot of the Angna Mountains and Sliabh an Iarinn beside Lough Allen. The Lough is the largest in Leitrim and is great for the angler with plenty of bays and well equipped spots. Rudd, Perch, Bream, Roach and Hybirds are common in the Lough and these waters are famous for large Pike.
