Lough Gowna

There is a number of small and large interconnecting lakes known as the Gowna Lakes which flow from the Erne to south Cavan. This is a great area for fishing and is very popular as most of the Lakes can be successfully fished from the shore, however a boat will give greater access and choice of water. There are a number of scenic weedy bays and inlets of the main lakes and are worth fishing also.
