The community in Whitegate hold their annual festival on the May Bank Holiday weekend each year. This year’s festivities take place from May 3rd to May 5th.The many events include The Horse and Pony Races which are planned for Sunday the 4th at Dromaan, the Dinny Ryan 10k road race on Monday 5th, a dawn chorus in Cornice Wood followed by a pancake breakfast at Williamstadt House on the Saturday. Many other events are taking place throughout the weekend which guarantees a fun filled weekend for all. Most of these events are only a 10 minute walk from the harbour, so why not take some time to visit Whitegate for a great weekends’ entertainment. A local taxi service is also available.
