The Barrel store is a superb craft beer pub in Carrick on Shannon. The pub is owned by the Carrig Brewing Company who independently produce some great beer in the nearby town of Drumshanbo.
The bar was redeveloped in 2015 to a very high standard and the addition of a dedicated craft beer pub in Carrick on Shannon has been welcomed by locals and visitors alike. The beer matches the decor in the quality available. On top of great brews produced just up the road there is an array of other beers from Ireland and over seas.
The Barrelstore host live music events regularly and have large screens showing all sporting events too. Be sure to book an area for large groups. Self catering accommodation is available above the bar too if you are looking for a place to stay. The location in the centre of the town so it’s a great place to drop in for a drink.
