Located in the heart of the beautiful waterside town of Carrick-On-Shannon just across the road from the River Shannon, The Landmark Hotel offers breathtaking views, warm hospitality and a choice of restaurants. It’s a definite must as you enjoy Carrick-on-Shannon! There’s the riverbank themed Boardwalk Café offering extensive Lunch & Evening Menus – here the Landmark Burger has gained quite a reputation and is well worth trying! The Lunch Menu, served daily 12pm-4pm, is seasonal (of course) and the already substantial menu is supplemented by daily specials (Mon-Fri) offering great value dishes that change daily. All in all it’s a well-rounded Menu prepared with care and presented by friendly efficient staff.
Evening time in the Boardwalk is a treat to behold. The Evening Menus is served 5pm -9pm, once again there is an extensive menu on offer complemented with a selection of Craft Beers and a great wine list. There’s also a great wall – with image of a Boardwalk that is a popular amongst photographers!
The Landmark is also home to Aroma’s Café, which is found in the airy and very beautiful conservatory with wonderful views of the waterway. Here you will find guests lingering over one of their exceptional homemade desserts, watching the world go by. Afternoon Tea accompanied by a chilled Sauvignon blanc or the wonderful seafood platter are clear favourites in Aromas! There are also delicious open sandwiches which accompanied with a cup of homemade soup offer great value. Breakfast is served 9am-11:30am and lunch is served 12pm-5pm, 7 days. This little gem is also open in the evening at the Weekend as an alternative to Boardwalk Café.
With a culinary reputation that brings visitors from a far, CJ’s Restaurant is the Landmark’s pièce de résistance. It serves an Evening Menu that has been well thought out and well priced every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and reservations are recommended!
